This End User License Agreement applies to the Hovermate desktop application and its accompanying first-party components. Hovermate is provided by Paliverse Apps LLC, United States of America. Contact: support@hovermate.gg.
1. Your license
Subject to your valid entitlement and this agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use Hovermate for your own lawful purposes. You receive a license to use the software, not ownership of its intellectual property. Your purchase platform's terms, purchase description and any mandatory rights continue to apply.
You may not redistribute or sell unauthorized copies, share license credentials to provide unauthorized access, or bypass license checks. Restrictions on modification, reverse engineering or circumvention apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not limit rights expressly granted by a third-party or open-source license.
2. Steam verification and offline use
A licensed Steam build verifies your Steam account and ownership of Hovermate through Steam and our license service. Initial verification and periodic renewal require an internet connection and available services. A previously verified copy may operate offline while its signed permission remains valid. The present maximum validity is 28 days from verification and can be shorter for a temporary Steam license.
A confirmed loss of entitlement, expired permission or account mismatch may restrict licensed features. A temporary service outage is handled separately from a confirmed absence of a license. Offline permission cannot be renewed without a successful verification. License enforcement does not authorize us to delete your authored documents. Refund requests and transaction matters for Steam purchases should use Steam's applicable processes; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
3. Your content and third-party components
You retain your rights in profiles, crosshairs, menus, widgets and other content you create. You are responsible for rights in material you import or share. Uploading an item to Steam Workshop is an intentional action governed additionally by Steam's applicable terms and permissions. Creating local content does not by itself grant us a right to publish it.
If you use widgets in a stream or recording, you are responsible for the information and licensed material you choose to display. Check the content and selected data sources before going live. Third-party content and streaming platforms remain subject to their own terms.
Third-party components retain their own licenses and notices. Optional integrations are governed additionally by the relevant provider's terms. The Discord integration has its own terms and privacy policy.
4. Responsible use and compatibility
Use Hovermate only where you have permission. Overlays, automation and input actions may be restricted by particular games, competitions or anti-cheat systems. We cannot guarantee that every feature is permitted or supported in every environment. Do not use Hovermate for abuse, unauthorized access, infringement or bypassing another service's protections. Review imported content and commands, and keep backups of your work.
Desktop Window and Xbox Game Bar differ from the optional Injected Direct3D 11 backend, which loads an overlay runtime into a target process. Configured actions may generate keyboard input. Use injection and input actions only where the target application's rules allow them. External rendering alone is not a guarantee of approval by a game, tournament or anti-cheat provider.
5. Updates, availability and liability
Features and compatibility may change as Windows, Steam, Discord and other services evolve. A purchase does not itself promise every future paid feature or perpetual operation of an online service. We will respect the purchase terms and obligations required by applicable law.
To the extent legally permitted, Hovermate is provided as available without additional warranties. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses to the extent such limits are lawful. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer rights, applicable statutory remedies or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Ending use and changes
You may stop using and uninstall Hovermate. Local data, exports and backups may remain; see the Privacy Policy. We may restrict access for material breaches subject to applicable notice, remedy and consumer-protection requirements.
Contact support@hovermate.gg about this agreement. We do not require arbitration or waive mandatory rights to courts or regulators. Updates will show their effective date, with additional notice where required and previous published versions retained in the legal archive. Changes will not operate retroactively where prohibited by law.
